I was recently invited to spend a weekend with my fiance in one of Greece’s most cosmopolitan islands, Mykonos. We stayed at the luxurious Kouros Hotel & Suites, located on the seafront and within walking distance from Mykonos town.
I have been to Mykonos island a couple of times, and I believe that Kouros hotel boasts an ideal location as it is very close to vibrant Mykonos town but in a quiet area where you can relax and unwind.

Kouros Hotel & Suites Review
Getting to the Kouros Hotel & Suites
Our flight arrived early in the morning, and as soon as we took our luggage the hotel’s driver greeted us, and took us to the hotel. The airport was just a short 10-minute drive. The hotel offers free transportation to and from the airport and port. You only need to make a reservation. If you have a car, free parking is provided on the premises.
Checking – In at the Kouros Hotel & Suites
The hotel was recently renovated, and it offers a wide range of luxurious rooms all with private terraces and sea views. We received a warm welcome from the reception staff, they checked us in and explained all the facilities available at the hotel as our luggage was taken to our room.
The Room at Kouros Hotel & Suites
We were upgraded to a suite with a private hot tub. The room was very spacious and bright. The decoration was a combination of Cycladic and modern elements. It had all the amenities that you would expect from a luxurious hotel; a sitting area with an elegant couch, a minibar, a desk, a flat-screen TV, a safe deposit box, a Nespresso coffee machine, and complimentary bottled water to name a few. Also, wi-fi is available in the entire hotel free of charge.
The best part of the room was the king-size bed with fluffy pillows, luxurious sheets, and a very comfortable mattress. It was everything we needed after a long day and night exploring Mykonos town.
The bathroom was big with a spa walk-in shower. There were also Korres toiletries available which are among my favorites, fluffy robes and towels, slippers, and a hairdryer.
The highlight of our stay though was the private terrace with the sunbeds, the hot tub, and the incredible views of the Aegean sea, the white-washed houses, and the windmills of Mykonos town. From our private terrace, we enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunsets, and when the night came, we could see the sparkling lights of Mykonos town.
Breakfast at the Kouros Hotel & Suites
I believe breakfast itself is a reason alone to stay at Kouros Hotel. It was served by the pool and included an expansive buffet and an inclusive a la carte menu. The a la carte menu included a choice of cooked eggs, omelets, and pancakes with maple syrup. The eggs used are biological from free-range hens I was impressed both by the quantity and quality of products offered.
Hotel Amenities at Kouros Hotel & Suites
Other hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with spectacular views of the Aegean Sea, a pool bar, and a gourmet restaurant that combines traditional Greek cuisine with modern touches. A fitness center and a spa are also available. The hotel staff was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Every night we would receive at our room a handwritten note from the staff accompanied by candies. I thought that it was a very nice gesture making you feel more at home.
My stay at Kouros Hotel & Suites was an absolute delight. I totally recommend it if you are looking for a luxurious experience and impeccable service on Mykonos island.
I was a guest at Kouros Hotel & Suites but as always opinions are my own.
